Obituary of Alfred "Ted" Owen, Deseret News, 4 Apr 1991

Alfred "Ted" Owen, age 64, passed away March 31, 1991 in Dunnigan, California.
He was born June 20, 1926 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Charles Edward and Emma Jane Burgess Owen. Married Marian Ruefenacht on February 27, 1945. Attended South High School in Salt Lake. He is a disabled veteran of World War II serving with US Navy Seabees. He was employed at EIMCO Corp. and retired from Kennecott Copper Corp. in 1981. After retirement, he resided in Dunnigan, California. Lifetime member of DAV, and Footprinters Salt Lake City. He also enjoyed lapidary.
Survived by his wife, Marian Ruefenacht; children, Terry Owen, Glenna Owen Hansen, of Kaysville; Raymond Owen, Salt Lake City; and Kathee Owen Kershaw, Dunnigan, California; six grandchildren, Jeffrey and Matthew Tayson; Brian and Barbara Hansen; Brett and Drew Owen, and five great-grandchildren; brothers and a sister, George, Salt Lake City; Bill, Roosevelt; Bert, and Eva Conquest, both of Salt Lake City.
Funeral services Saturday, April 6, 1991 at 11 a.m. Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple; internment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
