Obituary of John W. Norton
OGDEN--John William Norton, 84, 2166 Quincy Ave., died Saturday in a Roy hospital of causes incident to age. Born Aug. 7, 1877, Southhampton [sic], England, to John and Angelina Norton. Married Margaret Innes Mar 29, 1901, Logan Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She died Nov. 21, 1953, Ogden. Retired beverage manufacturer in Ogden for 50 years, employed by Standard Bottling Co. Member Thirty-first LDS Ward. Survivors: son, J. Earl, Ogden; eight grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Edith Stevens, Ogden. Funeral, Lindquist and Sons Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., Monday, 1 p.m. Friends call mortuary Sunday 7-9 p.m., Monday prior to services. Burial, Ogden City Cemetery.
