     Hiram Lewis was a farmer.² He was born on Wednesday, 11 February 1818 in Franklin, Simpson, Kentucky.^1,3 He was born on Wednesday, 11 February 1818 in Pendleton, Anderson, South Carolina.^4,1 At the age of 20, Hiram Lewis married Cecilia Harris on Monday, 3 December 1838. Hiram Lewis lived in Navarro, Ellis, Texas on 21 October 1850.² He died on Thursday, 11 February 1858 at the age of 40 years.⁵

     Mary M. Lewis married Jay Blackburn. Mary M.
